📋 Description
• Provide database support for upgrades, assessments, and migrations • Offer expert advice to stakeholders on all aspects of database management • Perform troubleshooting and resolution of database-related issues • Conduct daily monitoring of the database estate • Implement and enforce SQL Server security best practices • Manage new database builds, upgrades, and server migrations • Perform database backups and restores as required • Install service packs, cumulative updates, and patches • Monitor and maintain storage resources and database maintenance plans
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SQL Database Administration • Experience managing and monitoring replicated SQL databases • Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning • Familiarity with business continuity strategies related to database systems • PowerShell scripting (desirable) • Proficiency in creating stored procedures, views, and functions
