📋 Description

• Own the security and reliability surface of Physitrack's infrastructure, including the edge, data layer, and observability stack • Own the Envoy-based edge, WAF rules, rate limiting, and bot management across cloud and CDN layers • Design and tune protections against content scraping, credential attacks, and traffic anomalies • Build detection for meaningful traffic patterns and improve signal-to-noise ratio • Harden the AWS estate with IAM boundaries, least-privilege access, threat detection, and EKS runtime monitoring • Manage secrets, certificates, and token lifecycle across the platform • Produce infrastructure evidence for ISO 27001 audits, penetration tests, and enterprise security reviews • Run PostgreSQL and RDS in production across regions, including upgrades, performance, encryption, and access control • Own Typesense and vector-search infrastructure end to end • Work with MongoDB and ElastiCache alongside primary data stores • Own monitoring with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Sentry, and PagerDuty • Build trusted, low-noise alerting with meaningful thresholds and clear runbooks • Improve log and metric flows from the edge and application into the observability stack • Participate in a 24/7 PagerDuty on-call rotation by agreement • Maintain threat models, decision records, and runbooks • Provide written async updates and participate in planning and infrastructure/security syncs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in infrastructure, SRE, or security engineering • Strong AWS depth • Real experience with edge, WAF, or reverse proxy technology such as Envoy, nginx, Cloudflare, ModSecurity, Coraza, or equivalent • Production Kubernetes experience, ideally EKS • Strong Terraform skills • Experience operating PostgreSQL at scale, including upgrades and performance work • Practical observability experience building effective alerting • Security engineering mindset • English at a working professional level • Search infrastructure experience, such as Typesense, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or vector search (nice to have) • Content protection and anti-scraping experience (nice to have) • Technical support for ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar audits (nice to have) • Healthcare, fintech, or another regulated-domain experience (nice to have) • Polish language (nice to have)
