📋 Description

• Conduct experimental studies on various natural language processing and machine learning tasks to assess the accuracy and quality of pre-existing models • Help the transition of research models into production on different platforms • Conduct proof-of-concept experiments on lab and customer data • Publish patents and peer-reviewed papers in top machine learning conferences • Help your teammates in reviewing their research projects • Propose new ML models that improve Pindrop products • Leverage cloud AI platforms, including: • AWS Bedrock (Converse API, Agents, Knowledge Bases, Guardrails) • Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini API, Agent Builder, Vector Search, Search & Grounding, Model Garden) • Champion Responsible AI, including safety guardrails, red-teaming, fairness/bias testing, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's and/or PhDs in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) required • 3+ years of professional experience as a researcher in natural language processing, authorship verification, language models, intent recognition, emotion detection, and/or generative AI. • Experience with natural language processing required • Experience using AI-driven code research and development using AI assistants (eg, Anthropic or Copilot) • Strong Python skills • Experience with ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras • Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications at prestigious conferences and journals. • Proven track record of successful and timely project delivery • Strong collaboration & proven success in partnering with stakeholders • Preferably, you have experience with NLP competitions and challenges (PAN, Kaggle, NIST SRE, Chime, etc.) • Preferably, you have deep knowledge of authentication, fraud, or customer experience concepts • Preferably, you have experience communicating with internal and external customers around proof-of-concepts, issues, etc.
