📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for APIs and platform services • Establish and enforce coding standards, API design guidelines, and DevOps best practices • Make technical decisions on tools, frameworks, and operational approaches • Mentor and coach API developers and DevOps engineers; manage resource allocation and performance • Act as liaison between API/DevOps team and stakeholders; ensure documentation and status reporting • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and oversee QA and CI/CD pipelines • Guide incident management and production troubleshooting • Oversee CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation) • Champion monitoring, alerting, reliability engineering, and security/compliance practices • Drive process optimization and evaluate/adopt tools to improve productivity and quality • Work with containerization, clustering, high availability, disaster recovery, and AWS services

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or technical discipline • 5 years relevant experience (Degree may be substituted for 8 years of experience) • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Expert communication and client management skills • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Flexible, able to adapt to different customer groups and expectations • Experience working in and with cross-functional teams • Outcome-oriented approach focused on delivering value to end users backed by measurable, data-driven results • U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance • Java • SpringBoot • SpringBatch • GitHub and GitHub Actions • Jaeger • mySQL • Oracle • RDS • DynamoDB • MongoDB • Ruby • Python • AWS Cloud (EKS, ACK) • Docker • Kubernetes • Helm • Argo • CodeClimate • Datadog • Kiali • Vault • Terraform or CloudFormation
