• managing the verification process for all healthcare professionals • reviewing applications for completion • verification of state licensure • collecting information contained in the national data banks • compiling all applicable security and credential documents • assembling qualification packages for review • managing timelines and processing • performing Primary Source Verification (PSV) • completing verifications following DHA directives • responding to inquiries from the customer’s Security and Credentialing Office • providing direct supervision to the support staff • implementing DHA policies and standards
• Five plus years of experience in medical credentialing including overall knowledge of the credentialing and privileging process • Two plus years of credentialing experience with the DoD • Must have ability to interface with all levels of military medical staff • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Skills with use of MS Office, i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Organization skills and ability to be detail-oriented and accurate in work produced • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field preferred
