β’ Responsible for performing advanced eligibility, documentation, and risk reviews for mortgage loans. β’ Evaluates complex borrower scenarios and validates compliance with agency requirements. β’ Provides guidance to internal stakeholders on loan eligibility and documentation requirements. β’ Performs comprehensive eligibility reviews for various mortgage transactions and evaluates borrower risk profiles. β’ Accurately inputs and validates loan data, identifying and resolving documentation deficiencies. β’ Serves as a point of escalation for complex eligibility questions and works with various teams to resolve issues. β’ Maintains expert-level knowledge of mortgage product guidelines and assists teams in loan evaluations.
β’ High School graduate or GED required. β’ Some college preferred. β’ Minimum five (5) years of mortgage operations, underwriting, loan eligibility, quality control, or underwriting support experience. β’ Minimum three (3) years of experience reviewing complex Conventional, Government, Jumbo, Renovation, Non-Delegated, or Non-Agency mortgage products. β’ Advanced experience analyzing self-employed borrower income and non-traditional income documentation preferred. β’ Correspondent lending experience strongly preferred. β’ Advanced knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, Renovation, and Non-Agency guidelines. β’ Advanced income calculation and cash-flow analysis skills. β’ Ability to interpret tax returns, business returns, profit and loss statements, bank statements, and financial documentation. β’ Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills. β’ Ability to train and mentor less experienced team members.
