📋 Description
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. • Act as a technical leader by contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of core payment features. • Design and implement new payment integrations with various gateways, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods. • Manage the development lifecycle of new and existing payment components, including payment processing (Cards, ACH, recurring payments, 3DS) and POS device management. • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, code quality, and technical documentation. • Oversee implementation of logging, monitoring, and traceability systems for payment flows. • Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to define and execute the payments roadmap. • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team skills and product quality. • Refactor and optimize existing payment-related components to improve performance, scalability, and security.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven senior or lead software engineer with hands-on team leadership or management experience • Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails • Deep understanding of payment systems, including 3D Secure (3DS), digital wallets, and fraud detection mechanisms • Experience with database design and performance optimization • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools • Experience working in Agile environments • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proactive problem-solving attitude • Familiarity with background job processors such as Sidekiq is a valuable plus
