📋 Description

• Own and evolve Telescope, Pleo’s design system, including components, patterns, guidelines, and tooling • Enable product teams to ship faster with consistent UI, accessibility, and quality • Partner with Design and Engineering to drive adoption and improve contribution experiences • Steward shared foundations such as tokens, components, documentation, and best practices • Set technical direction for architecture, component standards, release practices, and quality bars • Drive and evolve the contribution model and team interaction processes • Own request triage, prioritisation, and expectation-setting • Improve developer and contributor experience through tooling and automation • Improve visual testing, operational workflows, adoption measurement, system-health communication, and documentation publishing • Lead team rituals and align stakeholders across Design and Engineering • Coach and mentor engineers and grow technical leadership in the frontend community • Contribute hands-on code as part of a strategy-and-execution role

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining component libraries or platform-like products serving multiple teams • TypeScript and modern frontend engineering experience; React experience is a plus • Experience designing maintainable systems with clear boundaries, versioning, and backwards compatibility • Testing practices and tooling, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing • Strong quality mindset • Accessibility and UI performance best practices • Experience collaborating with designers and product engineers • Ability to navigate tradeoffs across stakeholders • Clear communication, active listening, pragmatic leadership, and coaching ability • Application must be submitted in English
