📋 Description

• Lead launches of new card programs, products, markets and currencies from scoping and requirements through production release. • Manage Visa and Mastercard scheme and partner onboarding, including BIN and product setup and scheme submissions. • Plan and coordinate end-to-end testing with partners and sign off programs before launch. • Coordinate physical and virtual card launches, including design approvals and external vendor production. • Drive Apple Pay, Google Pay and other digital wallet launches from issuer onboarding and certification through go-live. • Extend wallet programs to new products, BINs and markets. • Monitor wallet and tokenisation performance and resolve issues with partners. • Maintain alignment with scheme rules, mandates and releases, translating changes into actions. • Contribute to recurring scheme and partner reporting. • Work with Compliance and Fraud teams on controls, escalations and audits. • Serve as the main internal and external point of contact for assigned programs. • Translate business and partner needs into requirements for Product and Engineering. • Manage parallel projects, dependencies and risks, and provide regular stakeholder updates. • Improve and document program launch and operating processes. • Use AI and automation tools to reduce manual work.

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in payments, including at least 3 years of hands-on card program implementation at an issuer, processor, program manager or card-issuing fintech. • Hands-on experience launching and managing programs with both Visa and Mastercard. • Experience launching digital wallets and tokenisation, ideally including an Apple Pay issuer launch. • Solid understanding of the card lifecycle, including authorisation, clearing and settlement, 3DS and tokenisation, as well as physical card production. • Track record of delivering several multi-stakeholder projects at the same time, with clear ownership and reporting. • Technical fluency with API documentation, transaction data and test results, and day-to-day collaboration with engineers. • Structured, proactive way of working; ability to flag risks early and document as you go. • Fluent English, written and spoken. • Nice to have: established network within card schemes and the wider issuing ecosystem. • Nice to have: experience with commercial card products and multi-currency programs. • Nice to have: exposure to European and Global card programs. • Nice to have: proficient SQL or data analysis skills.
