📋 Description

• Modernize existing systems while developing new services • Solve technical challenges related to performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability • Write clean, well-tested, and high-quality code • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions • Collaborate with teammates to continuously improve engineering practices • Learn and adopt new technologies where they provide clear value • Develop high-performance distributed backend systems and modernize the platform by redesigning existing services and building new ones • Work with the Playtech Open Platform, a unified network and API enabling communication with Playtech infrastructure and integration between gaming provider services and operator systems

🎯 Requirements

• Solid knowledge of modern Java, with Java 21/25 preferred • Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency • Good problem-solving skills • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures • General understanding of distributed systems and backend application design • General understanding of database concepts • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases • Commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested software • Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, Git, and Docker • Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging performance issues is an advantage
