📋 Description

• Serve as the clinical voice and subject matter expert for Plume Health, engaging internal and external stakeholders. • Advocate for the clinical experience during product launches and ensure clinical accuracy in public-facing content. • Lead development and updates of internal medical processes such as scopes of care and clinical management briefs. • Manage full-time providers with monthly 1:1s and full-time pod leads with weekly 1:1s for guidance, support, and development. • Oversee a network of ~40 contracted providers as primary point of contact, addressing concerns with urgency and clinical accuracy. • Participate in clinician recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and new clinician integration. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high quality of care and oversee provider performance improvement plans. • Facilitate regular chart review and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and regulatory compliance. • Collaborate with Director of Recruiting, Onboarding, and Training on alignment between recruiting and clinical training. • Maintain a small patient panel (expected 0.2 clinical practice and 0.8 administrative) to stay current with processes. • Serve as SME for healthcare regulatory compliance and advise cross-functional teams on operational adherence to federal, state, and industry regulations. • Collaborate with product, tech, clinical operations, and marketing teams to optimize workflows, tools, and rollouts of clinical offerings. • Support organizational OKRs by driving alignment, goal-setting, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• A strong understanding and appreciation for the trans experience and a commitment to increasing access to gender-affirming care. • 3+ years of experience working directly with the TGNC community in a clinical setting. • 10+ years of experience seeing patients in a clinical setting. • A valid license and certification to practice medicine (MD/DO, NP, PA). • Proven work experience in a medical director role or a similar capacity. • Demonstrated people management experience, particularly in leading clinicians. • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to run meetings and manage multiple projects, including KPIs and OKRs. • Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other office productivity tools. • Experience in primary care and mental health management. • Experience working in a fully remote telehealth setting. • Ability to provide occasional weekend or evening availability to address urgent patient or provider needs. • Only those legally authorized to work in the USA are eligible to apply; residency in the USA is a requirement of employment for this role.
