📋 Description

• Deliver the ProfitCoach Experience through quality assurance reviews, client relationship and account management • Manage day-to-day trust accounting processes for property management companies with Trust Accounts • Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient full-service accounting and awareness of client profit-growing/stewardship opportunities • Handle vendor credits, transferring funds, general receipts & deposits, tenant charges, tenant deposits, tenant credits, owner adjustments, and ownership changes • Process owner cancellations including transferring deposits and Lease Only payouts • Manage HAP payments, late fees, eviction notices, NSF processing, and security deposits following AppFolio and client-specific policies • Oversee A/P cycle: approve bills, post and payout management fees, process vendor payments, send physical check files, and issue/request stop payments • Owner accounting: review and send owner statements, manage owner disbursements • Banking: follow up on bank deposits, troubleshoot and review bank reconciliations, initiate bank transfers, enter corrective JEs with AE approval, and review issued checks past 90 days • Participate in other projects: negative & positive FDR review, assist with 1099s, ad hoc reporting, review management fees for new move-ins, review fee settings on vacant properties, manage recurring JEs/recurring bills • Administrative expectations: set and meet SMART goals monthly and quarterly, attend weekly company meetings, and participate in company initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in property management trust accounting • Background in Accounting or proven understanding of basic accounting principles • Experience with Appfolio • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets • Good command of written communication • Strong written communication skills • Excellent problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented • Able to understand new concepts with written and hands-on support • Experience in Google Suite products (preferred) • Understanding of property management accounting (AppFolio, Rentvine) (preferred) • Reliable internet connection and use of a webcam • Ability to work overlapping hours with Mountain, Central, or Eastern Standard Time
