📋 Description

• Manage and operate tools for analyzing, monitoring, deploying, and orchestrating cloud environments • Ensure application scalability, security, usability, and robustness • Implement integrations requested by clients • Implement system and environment updates and fixes • Provide Level 2 technical support • Develop tools to reduce error occurrences and improve the customer experience • Develop software and solutions for integration with internal back-end systems • Perform root cause analysis of production errors • Investigate and resolve technical issues • Develop scripts to automate processes and simplify environment visualization and monitoring • Design procedures for diagnosing failures • Develop system maintenance procedures • Administer, monitor, and maintain cloud environments • Support the deployment and operation of scalable applications in cloud environments

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Technology or a related field • Postgraduate qualification (specialization, master’s degree, or doctoral degree) in Information Technology or a related field, comprising at least 360 hours • At least 4 years of professional IT experience • At least 3 years of specialized experience as a Cloud Computing Engineer or in a similar role • Experience with cloud computing projects handling high volumes of daily traffic • Experience configuring application servers • Experience monitoring on-premises and/or cloud environments • Experience with container orchestration • Knowledge of and experience with Docker • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure • Experience managing tools within the Google Firebase environment • Experience with Realtime Database, Firestore, Remote Config, and Analytics • Experience replicating environments and services • Knowledge of security, scalability, and application robustness practices in cloud environments • Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role • Practical knowledge of Google Cloud, Firebase, and Google Analytics • Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure • Experience applying best practices for storing, deploying, and migrating scalable applications • Experience migrating applications between on-premises and cloud environments • Experience with manual and/or automated container orchestration • Experience with highly available environments handling high volumes of traffic • Experience with mobile applications and their corresponding back-end and infrastructure environments
