📋 Description

• Lead development and maintenance of rating plans and indication frameworks • Design and implement advanced pricing models and segmentation strategies • Direct preparation of countrywide rating algorithm initiatives and ensure accuracy and compliance • Establish documentation and governance standards for pricing models • Mentor and coach actuarial analysts; review work for accuracy and completeness • Investigate segmentation enhancements and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership • Implement innovative analytical tools and techniques to improve departmental analytical capabilities and speed to results • Collaborate with Product, Reserving, Data Science, Underwriting, Sales, and Claims • Maintain progress toward actuarial credentials through ongoing exam completion and professional development activities, if relevant

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field • Associate designation or near-associate completion from the CAS, IFOA, or IAI strongly preferred • 5+ years of general insurance actuarial/pricing experience, including leadership of complex projects • Expert Excel • Advanced SQL and Python/R skills • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and regulators • Strategic thinking and leadership; strong governance and risk management orientation • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with executives • Proven experience working with US based business teams • Excellent written and communication skills in English language • Ability to work 8 hours excluding breaks, including 4 core US hours overlap • Quiet workspace • Internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
