📋 Description

• Own and evolve Power Digital's enterprise LookML semantic layer as the governed foundation for analytics across the organization and clients • Write scalable and performant LookML with rich metadata for conversational analytics use cases • Translate ambiguous stakeholder and client requests into technical implementations • Design and optimize Looker assets for scalable, reusable self-service analytics • Build data products in Looker for internal stakeholders and clients using data visualization and UI/UX principles • Design LookML for scale and performance, partnering with Analytics Engineering on aggregate-layer tuning and query optimization • Deploy and govern LookML across multiple Looker instances • Own the LookML style guide and naming conventions • Train and support users adopting self-service analytics • Mentor junior developers and analysts • Employ AI technologies to maximize team leverage and efficiency • Establish metric-definition source of truth and deliver high-priority Looker data products • Build semantic metadata routing scalability for Conversational Analytics and AI-driven queries • Diagnose and clear production data-product performance bottlenecks with Analytics Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced spoken and written English proficiency is required • 4+ years owning the full lifecycle of production-grade LookML models and data products • Advanced SQL proficiency with a modern cloud data warehouse; Snowflake and BigQuery preferred • Strong foundation in dimensional modeling and data warehousing fundamentals • Agency experience, including performance marketing analytics • Comfortable with measurement, channels, and the multi-client pace of a digital marketing agency serving eCommerce to B2B clients • Experience deploying and governing LookML across multiple Looker instances • Experience with extensible LookML and modular visualizations in a multi-tenant environment • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members • Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows • Excellent communication and presentation skills with engineers and executives
