📋 Description

• Own and evolve Power Digital's enterprise LookML semantic layer as the governed foundation for analytics across the organization and clients • Write scalable and performant LookML with rich metadata for conversational analytics use cases • Translate ambiguous stakeholder and client requests into technical implementations • Design and optimize Looker assets for scalable, reusable self-service analytics • Build data products in Looker for internal stakeholders and clients using data visualization and UI/UX principles • Partner with Analytics Engineering on aggregate-layer tuning and query optimization • Deploy and govern LookML across multiple Looker instances • Own the LookML style guide and naming conventions • Train and support users adopting self-service analytics • Mentor junior developers and analysts • Employ AI technologies to maximize team leverage and efficiency • Establish metric-definition source of truth and support Conversational Analytics and AI-driven queries • Deliver priority Looker data products for client and internal engagements • Diagnose and clear performance bottlenecks on production data products

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced spoken and written English proficiency required • 4+ years owning the full lifecycle of production-grade LookML models and data products • Advanced SQL proficiency with a modern cloud data warehouse; Snowflake and BigQuery preferred • Strong foundation in dimensional modeling and data warehousing fundamentals • Agency experience, including performance marketing analytics • Comfortable with measurement, channels, and the multi-client pace of a digital marketing agency serving eCommerce and B2B clients • Experience deploying and governing LookML across multiple Looker instances • Experience with extensible LookML and modular visualizations in a multi-tenant environment • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members • Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Nice to have: LLM query routing, Conversational Analytics or natural-language BI tooling, Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools, and dbt or equivalent analytics engineering experience
