📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python and Node.js • Own APIs, business logic, and data workflows powered by PostgreSQL and MongoDB • Contribute to frontend features, approximately 30% of the time, to deliver end-to-end product experiences • Develop and maintain web scraping and data ingestion pipelines in compliance with applicable legal and ethical frameworks • Work effectively with AI-assisted development tools, including Cursor and Copilot • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to turn requirements into scalable solutions • Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems • Participate in technical decisions and architecture discussions

🎯 Requirements

• French proficiency is required for this role • English proficiency is required • French proficiency is required • 4+ years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering • Strong backend experience with Python and/or Node.js • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB • Comfortable contributing to frontend codebases as needed • Experience with or interest in web scraping and systems that process large volumes of data • Good knowledge of modern AI-assisted development practices • Strong ownership and ability to work independently • Based in Latin America • Experience with OCR, computer vision, or document processing is a plus • Experience building automation- or data-driven products is a plus • Startup or scale-up experience is a plus
