• Manage new business development enquiries • Partner with Marketing to leverage initiatives and content for business development outreach • Partner with Marketing and Sales Development to triage or nurture inbound leads • Coordinate sales territories and assist with territory plans and strategies to achieve customer and revenue growth targets • Provide business development team support, including RFI completion and CDA coordination • Track and manage Clinical Solutions and Translational Sciences activity in Salesforce • Maintain account, opportunity, contact, and lead records in Salesforce • Identify, implement, and manage new business development process initiatives • Partner with the Business Development team on meeting and event planning and travel to trade shows and other events • Attend trade shows and other events as needed • Provide weekly business development success reports and communicate related data to the Executive Team
• Bachelor’s degree (or its international equivalent) plus 2 years of related experience, or 8+ years’ experience working within a business development role in a CRO setting • High level of proficiency in the Salesforce application and associated reporting functionality • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of the sales cycle • Ability to listen and identify customer pain points and challenges • Ability to work under pressure, stay organized, multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively, and attend to administrative details • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective internal and external relationships • Working knowledge of Strategic Development processes and relevant Precision for Medicine SOPs and systems • Ability to resolve project-related problems and prioritize workload to meet deadlines • Ability to work independently with minimal support and in a team environment • Fluency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook • Adaptable, professional, motivated, and able to meet and exceed targets and quotas
