📋 Description

• Brainstorm pre-planned and real-time reactionary social content ideas around relevant sports and culture narratives, with an emphasis on the NFL. • Execute upon approved ideas, creating static graphics, motion graphics, memes, photo manipulations, short-form video edits, templates, and other made-for-social assets. • Support with select live gametime shifts, working hand-in-hand with the gametime social media team to rapidly ideate and create quick-turn content based on live-game narratives. • Monitor trends—including trending storylines and social formats—keeping a finger on the pulse of what’s happening in real-time and vetting if PrizePicks should jump into the conversation, where, and how. • Monitor content performance to inform which formats the team should repeat, rethink, and retire. • Participate in relevant team meetings, including campaign planning sessions, ideation sessions, reporting syncs, and more.

🎯 Requirements

• Flexible scheduling. Sports and social media don’t operate within a typical 9-5. This position will be staffed in a hybrid role across standard business hours and weekend/evening hours, aligning with the 24/7 nature of sports. All applicants must be able to work one weekend (8-hour) shift per week with a typical weekly schedule of Sunday-Thursday. • Demonstrated expertise in multimedia content creation using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant software. All applicants must submit a portfolio of work samples. • Creative, outside-the-box thinking and a proven ability to translate ideas into high-impact creative executions. • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing brand standards or attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Deep understanding of social media platforms and their best practices, with a focus on X, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads in particular. • Deep understanding of and engagement with internet culture and humor, and social-first formats. • Deep knowledge of league, team, athlete, and sports culture storylines, with an emphasis on the NFL. • Familiarity with the PrizePicks brand and product, and the real money gaming industry.
