Probatix is a Berlin-based consumer health company offering at-home blood and health test kits that customers collect via a small finger-prick, send to ISO-certified partner laboratories for analysis, and receive digital, easy-to-understand results through an app. Their product range covers preventive and wellness-focused diagnostics including hormone panels, nutrient checks, metabolic and cardiovascular risk profiles, fertility and STI screens, and cancer early-detection tests, sold direct-to-consumer via an online e-commerce storefront.

📋 Description

• Join Probatix Health GmbH and help shape the future of laboratory diagnostics with us! • Development & optimization: Backend using PHP 8, Symfony 7 and API Platform. • Integrations & data flows: including Mirth Connect, HL7, FHIR — building robust, secure interfaces. • API design: building and evolving internal and external APIs (versioning, authentication, rate limiting). • Collaboration: close cooperation with Frontend (React) and Product; clean interfaces and clear handovers. • Quality: testing (unit/integration), code reviews, clean code, and security best practices. • DevOps & infrastructure ownership: CI/CD, containerization (Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code, observability (logs, metrics, tracing), alerting and incident handling.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer in a production environment (ideally in Digital Health or other regulated domains). • Strong knowledge of PHP 8, Symfony 7 and modern API development. • Practical experience with system integrations and healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR) as well as the web stack (nginx). • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, IaC, and monitoring/alerting. • Ownership mindset: you take responsibility, create clarity, and deliver reliably. • Open and constructive communication, high quality standards — and the drive to make things happen.
