• Welcome a child or young person into your own home • Provide care as a social-pedagogical foster care placement (§34 SGB VIII) or educational placement (§33.2 SGB VIII) • Provide educational and emotional support through the challenges and positive experiences of life • Receive comprehensive advice and support in planning and completing every step leading up to placement • Receive support when starting your new professional future • Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary professional team

🎯 Requirements

• Educational professional, such as an early childhood educator, social worker, or social pedagogue • Career changers without formal qualifications may be considered under §33.2, provided they have relevant prior experience and complete additional qualifications • Willingness to welcome and care for a child or young person in your own home • Work as a social-pedagogical foster care placement (§34 SGB VIII) or educational placement (§33.2 SGB VIII)
