📋 Description

• Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial automated equipment • Showcase strong robotics, controls, and customer advisor skillset • Travel to customers’ facilities to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex machinery and equipment • Train customers’ operators and technicians on machine setup, operation, change-over, and maintenance • Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, remote connection, or on-site • Modify and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programs for existing packaging equipment • Commission, test, and debug robotic and automated packaging systems • Provide on-call emergency service and maintain communication while in the field • Prepare detailed trip reports for the company and customers • Maintain records of service calls, training, expenses • Ensure compliance with inspection, testing, quality specifications during machine installations and integrations • Identify and correct hardware and software discrepancies in machinery and equipment • Maintain positive customer relationships and identify opportunities for product improvements and parts sales • Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering, Sales, and Operations

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics or Robotic Programming • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation programming software with the ability to connect to Allen Bradley PLC’s and HMI’s for troubleshooting and some coding • Proficiency troubleshooting electrical circuits, I/O devices, VFD’s, servo motors and various industrial networks • Experience with robotic applications including programming and vision (Fanuc preferred) • Hands-on experience working with industrial automation equipment • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment • Ability to work in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Understand and markup electrical schematics and read 2D, 3D AutoCad mechanical assembly drawings
