📋 Description

• Establish and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with external stakeholders • Identify opportunities to influence political narratives and (climate) agendas on biodiversity issues • Collaborate with ProVeg country teams to develop targeted outreach to national decision-makers • Develop ProVeg positions and advocacy strategies on biodiversity and agriculture/food systems • Build a strong network of organizations to support our advocacy work • Coordinate presentations, press conferences, and networking events.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in political science, public administration, law, or a related field • 3–5 years of relevant policy experience with proven success influencing policy outcomes at international or national levels on biodiversity or related topics • Strong understanding of international multilateral processes and institutions (e.g., United Nations, IPCC), particularly CBD COPs (desirable) • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus • Excellent advocacy skills and a strong international network in policy • Good understanding of food system transformation and protein diversification, especially in relation to biodiversity • Passion for ProVeg’s mission and belief in the power of impact-driven decision-making to achieve societal change
