The company develops automated model-compression and pruning tools that enable developers and organizations to deploy efficient AI—reducing cost, latency and environmental impact—while widening access beyond large tech providers. Pruna AI was founded from academic research, launched a product that compresses models automatically, contributes open efficient models to the community, and operates with hubs in Munich and Paris while serving commercial customers and raising seed funding.

📋 Description

• Development of Pruna’s SaaS Platform • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Pruna’s SaaS cloud platform, designed for model compression and benchmarking • Design and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using basic frontend technologies • Implement and optimize backend services to support the platform’s functionalities, including model compression, performance evaluation, and user interaction through the UI • Collaborate with software engineers, ML engineers, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality user experience • Oversee the R&D cluster of the company, including individual machines on AWS that users can start and work on daily • Manage and maintain cluster for ML workload, facilitating the execution of batched experiments and jobs for the team • Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of the compute resources used for research and development • Scale ML Research Engineers' work, manage experimentation setups, pipelines, and testing environments • Collaborate with MLOps Engineers on the integration of Pruna's solutions in proprietary and established cloud platforms • Qualify new partnerships, experiment together on new tools and offering for the ML community to generate leads and convert customers

🎯 Requirements

• Good understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in MLOps (e.g., Python, C++, Java) • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation • Experience with public APIs and software quality management • Expertise in cloud computing platforms • Experience with containerisation technologies • Experience in designing, managing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines • Experience with orchestration tools and automated deployment practices • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams • Experience in working within an agile development environment • Strong sense of project ownership and personal responsibility • Passionate about making AI accessible to everyone. • Experience with deep learning frameworks is a plus • Contributions to open-source MLOps projects or communities is a plus
