📋 Description

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune • Resolve escalated Level 2/3 technical issues for colleagues across Asia-Pacific during local working hours • Serve as IT’s regional point of contact • Manage onboarding, role changes, and offboarding across Entra ID and Intune • Support security and audit-readiness activities, including Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, access reviews, vulnerability management, and patch management • Run and test backup and recovery and participate in disaster recovery tests • Maintain compliance with internal policies and data protection requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA • Collaborate with IT teams in Europe and the Americas on identity, infrastructure, and security projects • Automate routine work using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and approved AI tools • Follow change-management procedures and document runbooks, configurations, and support processes • Monitor Microsoft 365 and security features and assess their potential organizational benefits

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in English, written and spoken • Based in Asia-Pacific, ideally in Taiwan, Thailand, or India • Able to work 100% remotely • Willing to overlap part of the working day with colleagues in Europe • Logical, analytical, and ready to learn • Comfortable working independently as the first IT person in the region and as part of a global team • 1–5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Intune, and Exchange Online; ambitious early-career professionals are also considered • Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset • Nice to have: Microsoft Defender, Entra Conditional Access, and Microsoft Purview • Nice to have: Identity governance, role-based access, access reviews, and privileged access • Nice to have: SharePoint site architecture and permissions management • Nice to have: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and Git • Nice to have: Microsoft 365 backup and recovery tools such as Veeam • Nice to have: Experience supporting audits or working with ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR • Nice to have: Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, SC-300, or MD-102
