BotCity is a software platform that enables enterprises to build, orchestrate, govern, and scale automation based on code (notably Python) and computer vision. 📋 Description

• Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and the Spring Framework. • Ensure high performance and availability of applications within a microservices architecture. • Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements, confirm technical feasibility, and translate them into reliable, scalable solutions. • Participate in software engineering ceremonies to design and model complex applications. • Define private and public APIs for a world-class product. • Take part in code reviews, ensuring backend development best practices are followed. • Write high-quality technical documentation to clearly communicate backend architecture and API design, enabling easy understanding and effective cross-team collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • Proven professional experience (more than 8 years) in backend development with Java. • Proficiency with the Spring Framework. • Strong experience with code reviews and management of CI/CD pipelines. • Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, JWT, or SAML. • Experience with version control systems and project management tools, particularly Git and GitHub. • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Previous experience in a fast-growing, early-stage startup environment (or similar). • Ability to travel as required to meet with the team. • Portuguese — Fluent
