📋 Description

• Stay on top of U.S. politics, national affairs, and global stories that shape American life, demonstrating strong dedication and passion for tracking news consistently. • Identify important news developments, conduct in-depth research, and analyze complex topics to pitch compelling video story ideas. • Produce videos in various formats tailored for multiple social media and digital platforms. • Create engaging video narratives that simplify complex political and current affairs topics for a broad audience. • Use basic video editing tools to edit, package, and publish multimedia content. • Collaborate effectively with editors, producers, writers, and other team members across newsroom initiatives and projects. • Monitor breaking news developments and contribute to timely coverage when required. • Show willingness to learn new journalism skills, take initiative, and handle additional responsibilities as needed. • Ensure content meets editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, and audience engagement.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Political Science, or a related field • Strong interest in U.S. politics, current affairs, international relations, and news coverage • Excellent research, analytical, and storytelling abilities • Basic proficiency in video editing software and multimedia content production • Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital content formats • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom environment • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to learn
