📋 Description

• Responsible for triaging the Trust’s waiting list and providing specialist speech and language therapy services to adult patients in the community. • Conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to address communication and swallowing disorders. • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. • Maintain accurate patient records, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to the development of speech and language therapy services. • Providing remote consultations and support, ensuring continuity of care for patients who require ongoing therapy. Equipment necessary for remote working will be provided.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). • Proven experience in providing speech and language therapy services to adults, particularly in community settings. • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for communication and swallowing disorders. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in speech and language therapy. • Experience in remote working and providing virtual consultations is desirable.
