📋 Description

• Provide support to the SOC (Security Operations Centre) • Contribute to the delivery of cyber/technology risk practice, partnering with NZ’s largest organisations • Help shape response framework for globally scalable cyber defence • Provide technical guidance to client organisations • Collaborate with project teams to ensure security considerations are integrated • Monitor and analyse security events • Support security engineering efforts by implementing and maintaining effective controls • Participate in crisis simulation exercises • Research and stay current on latest trends and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• No formal qualifications required • Genuine passion for growing your career within technology and security • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to translate technical understanding into well-thought-out advice • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Comfortable in client-facing environments • Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings • Knowledge of Windows system internals, Defender, and Active Directory’s role within enterprises (beneficial) • Familiarity with EPP/EDR products such as Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Palo-Alto or similar (beneficial) • Familiarity with identity products such as SailPoint, CyberArk or similar (beneficial) • Some knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Perl, or PowerShell (a plus)
