📋 Description

• Answer insightful analysis questions from stakeholders across the Product organization • Ramp up on how different parts of the product and data model function to pull accurate results • Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to design key metrics for initiatives • Act as the statistics expert alongside Product Managers to ensure effective experiment design • Explain concepts such as statistical power and sample size intuitively • Analyze experiment results for statistical significance while accounting for common pitfalls and p-hacking • Ramp up on a particular product area and answer ad hoc insight questions • Design, launch, and analyze an experiment with mentorship from another Product Data Scientist • Provide feedback on team processes and propose iterations or new processes • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across data and business teams

🎯 Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience as a data scientist, in a product-focused environment • Strong proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of data modeling concepts • Proficiency with Python, ideally data analysis/science packages like Pandas and Stats • Good “Data storytelling” and stakeholder communication: can explain technical concepts in an intuitive way • Detail-oriented: can sense-check your output and correct errors before sharing results with stakeholders • A good product-sense and familiarity with fundamental “product” metrics (like DAU, retention, etc) • General understanding of machine learning, and how to make and evaluation models • Fluent English; high level of spoken English and proficiency with reading and writing professional English • Candidates must work remotely from Brazil or be located in the Buenos Aires metro area in Argentina
