📋 Description

• Own the month-end and quarter-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP • Build, document, and maintain internal controls to conduct a first year audit in accordance with GAAP, ASC 606, etc. • Own accounts payable end to end – vendor setup, invoice coding and approvals, and payment runs • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and key balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable and accrued expenses • Partner with Finance, RevOps, and other teams to ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition • Support implementation, integration, and optimization of ERPs and modern SaaS finance tools while managing day-to-day accounting operations

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big Four or similar) and in-house experience at a tech or SaaS company • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with deep familiarity with ASC 606 and core SaaS accounting concepts • Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement support • Audit and compliance experience, including internal controls design, documentation, and external audit preparation • Proficiency with major ERPs, Excel / Google Sheets, Rippling • An ownership mindset, high attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast paced startup environment
