📋 Description

• Architect and implement OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering solutions supporting engineering document management, project execution, and asset lifecycle processes • Design and configure state-based workflows to automate document reviews, approvals, and change management processes • Provide expertise on content repository setup, metadata management, security frameworks, and scalability • Enable secure collaboration between internal engineering teams and external partners via Business Workspaces and secure file-sharing tools • Monitor system performance, workflow efficiency, and project progress using dashboards and analytics • Recommend improvements based on performance and workflow analysis • Develop technical documentation • Provide training to end-users and IT teams on system capabilities and best practices • Collaborate directly with engineers across functional areas • Serve as the primary liaison between the engineering team and the OpenText support team • Report to the Director of Delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience supporting enterprise ECM platforms • 5+ years of hands-on OpenText Content Server AMS/support experience • Experience working in AMS or managed services environments with ticketing systems and SLAs • Experience supporting OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) or SAP-integrated environments • Experience supporting OpenText Archive Center, Core Capture, or VIM • Knowledge of authentication/SSO integrations (LDAP, AD, SAML) • OpenText certifications are a plus • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of experience with OpenText ECM solutions, including Content Server and Extended ECM • Must have experience with xECM for Engineering version 22 or higher • 3+ years working with engineering document management or asset lifecycle processes • Expertise in OpenText Content Server architecture, including repository configuration, workflow design, and Smart UI customization • Proficiency with Web Reports for custom development and reporting • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Preferred: OpenText certifications (e.g., OpenText Content Server Administrator, Extended ECM Specialist) • Preferred: Background in industries such as energy, manufacturing, or construction • Preferred: Knowledge of security standards (e.g., TLS/SSL, AES-256) and compliance frameworks • Preferred: Experience with Azure DevOps and Scaled Agile processes • Must be fully available between 9am and 5pm EST on all US working days • Must be able to pass Federal background checks as required by NERC/FERC regulations
