📋 Description

• Design and ship agentic tools and AI-powered workflows using internal systems, models, and tools • Lead discovery with Anti-Financial Crime stakeholders and own solutions from architecture through production operation • Build reliable, maintainable, and extensible backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations • Define AI evaluation, observability, fallbacks, and human-review mechanisms • Monitor output quality, acceptance and edit rates, throughput, and operational impact • Reduce investigation lead time and expand automation across Anti-Financial Crime workflows • Lead design discussions, anticipate risks, balance speed with quality, and raise team capability • Collaborate directly with operational teams in a regulated environment where reliability and auditability matter

🎯 Requirements

• Experience shipping an AI agent or agentic workflow used by real users • Ability to explain orchestration, tool use, state, structured outputs, evaluation, retries, and failure modes • Strong backend engineering and system-design fundamentals across architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, reliability, observability, maintainability, and scalability • Staff-level autonomy and judgement • Ability to communicate trade-offs clearly and optimise appropriately for speed or quality • Product and stakeholder thinking; ability to turn ambiguous operational pain into valuable solutions • End-to-end ownership of discovering, building, shipping, operating, maintaining, and improving systems • Curiosity about Anti-Financial Crime and regulated workflows, with ability to ramp up quickly • Python experience and familiarity with current model providers or agent frameworks are useful • Prior fintech or compliance experience is helpful, not required
