📋 Description

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain services handling real financial transactions • Own reliability in production • Co-own service architecture, resilience, and scalability using Domain-Driven Design principles • Lead design discussions and anticipate risks • Mentor less experienced engineers • Drive continuous improvement by fixing flaky CI, running post-mortems, and propagating learnings • Collaborate in squad teams with Product, Design, Frontend, and Mobile colleagues • Write tests, set up monitoring, handle incidents methodically, and perform root cause analysis • Track impact after release, flag regressions, and improve owned scope

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience • Exposure to large-scale web application architecture and real production constraints • Ability to transfer quickly to similar technologies • Comfort with backend technologies comparable to Go and Ruby • Experience writing tests • Experience setting up monitoring • Ability to handle incidents methodically and perform root cause analysis • Ownership of post-release impact and regressions • Comfortable working in squad teams with Product Managers, Designers, and engineers across stacks • Fluent in English
