📋 Description

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the Android, iOS teams, including task delegation, technical guidance, and mentorship. • Build and cultivate a positive, high-performing, and effective engineering team. • Lead the overall technical design and technology selection for our mobile platforms. • Define and enforce unified development standards and create a strategic roadmap for architectural evolution. • Spearhead efforts to tackle critical technical challenges, leading initiatives in performance optimization, stability improvements, and overall user experience enhancement. • Drive engineering efficiency and excellence within the team and explore best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and proactive monitoring/alerting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in mobile development (Android & iOS), with at least 3 years in a technical management or team leadership role in fintech, digital payments or banking. • Expertise in either native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development, coupled with a deep understanding of the other. • Deep familiarity with mainstream architectural patterns like MVVM, understanding the core design principles beyond just practical application. • A demonstrable understanding of the design principles behind popular open-source components (e.g., OkHttp, Lottie, Glide, AFNetworking) is highly valued. • Familiarity with financial regulations in Mexico (CNBV) is an advantage. • Native or fluency in Spanish and English. Preferred: Conversational in Chinese (Mandarin).
