📋 Description

• Design and develop products and features powered by Artificial Intelligence • Transform business needs into solutions using LLMs, agents, automations, and workflows • Develop end-to-end applications, including frontend when needed, backend, integrations, data persistence, infrastructure, and the AI layer • Create prototypes and evolve them into robust production solutions • Work with product, engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities to apply AI • Design and implement AI agents, multi-agent architectures, handoffs, coordination, context, memory, state, validation, fallback, and recovery • Develop agentic workflows and loops for planning, execution, evaluation, correction, retries, timeouts, and error handling • Design prompts and context engineering strategies, structured outputs, schema validation, and hallucination reduction mechanisms • Build tools for agents and integrate models with REST APIs, GraphQL, databases, enterprise systems, and SaaS platforms • Develop RAG solutions with ingestion, chunking, indexing, retrieval, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, and source traceability • Create datasets, metrics, automated evals, LLM-as-a-Judge systems, and failure analysis mechanisms • Host and operate AI applications on AWS, including Lambda and serverless architectures • Work with API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and RDS • Structure CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, deployments, Docker, and containerization • Implement tracing, logging, metrics, alerts, and monitoring for prompts, responses, tools, latency, errors, and tokens • Define scalable, secure, reliable, observable, and event-driven architectures • Develop APIs and services for workflow execution and orchestration • Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices • Implement security controls, least privilege, protection against prompt injection, validation of high-risk operations, and traceability • Participate in the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and experimentation through deployment, operations, and evolution in production

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in software engineering and product development • Hands-on experience developing applications using LLMs • Experience with model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or equivalent providers • Strong knowledge of backend development • Experience with Python and/or TypeScript • Knowledge of REST APIs and system integration • Experience building multi-step workflows • Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases • Knowledge of distributed architectures, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture • Hands-on experience with AWS • Knowledge of AWS Lambda and serverless architectures • Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes • Ability to deploy and maintain applications in production • Ability to understand business requirements and transform them into functional products • Ability to investigate problems systematically and work with rapidly evolving technologies • Practical knowledge of Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, Function Calling/Tool Calling, Structured Outputs, RAG, Embeddings, Vector Search, Model Context Protocol, Evals, LLM Observability, Guardrails, Human-in-the-loop, context and memory management, model routing, and token, latency, and cost optimization • Preferred qualifications: experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent technologies; MCP servers or clients; LLM observability and evaluation platforms; internal tools; AI applied to the development lifecycle; Spec-Driven Development; Infrastructure as Code; ECS, Fargate, or EKS; SQS, SNS, and EventBridge; enterprise environments; Digital Commerce and VTEX; advanced or fluent English
