📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API and backend services • Develop reliable automated tests covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios • Review and improve existing automation suites for maintainability and execution efficiency • Define automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines • Validate RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, and microservices • Design API test scenarios covering functional validation, negative testing, error handling, security validation, performance considerations, and data consistency • Perform contract and integration testing across multiple systems • Analyze API payloads, logs, and system interactions to identify defects • Participate in requirements and design reviews to identify risks early • Define test strategies and coverage for new features and critical loan processing business flows • Support shift-left testing practices • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Monitor and improve test execution reliability • Support deployment validation and production readiness activities • Provide quality metrics and automation reports to project stakeholders • Conduct code reviews and contribute to automation framework enhancements • Collaborate with development, architecture, product, and operations teams • Drive continuous improvement across QA practices and processes • Join the Loan Processor team to ensure the quality of complex lending workflows, integrations, and microservices supporting the loan origination and processing lifecycle

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of QA Automation experience • 3+ years of API test automation experience • Experience testing enterprise applications with multiple integrations • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS • Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and Basic Auth authentication mechanisms • Knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI • Experience with RestAssured, Postman/Insomnia, or similar API automation tools • Strong hands-on experience with C# • Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or xUnit • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git • Experience with microservices architecture • Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Xray, Zephyr) • Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus • Experience in enterprise QA automation and API testing
