📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines • Work with batch and streaming architectures • Define overall data architecture for ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics on GCP • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Engineers • Oversee data ingestion architecture using SQL-based ELT pipelines • Establish data governance and quality frameworks • Optimize BigQuery data structures • Provide architectural direction and mentorship to team members • Partner with security and infrastructure teams for compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture/design • 6+ years on GCP • Deep expertise in Google BigQuery design and performance tuning • Strong working knowledge of Cloud Composer (Airflow) • Solid understanding of insurance data structures from Guidewire systems • Experience architecting enterprise-grade ELT frameworks • Hands-on proficiency in SQL and analytical environment schema design • Familiarity with data governance and metadata management • Ability to lead technical teams and guide design decisions
