📋 Description
• Write engaging articles covering matches, players, tactics, transfers, and key developments. • Produce a mix of match analysis, opinion pieces, deep dives, and feature-style content. • Translate complex tactical and statistical insights into accessible, reader-friendly narratives. • Deliver well-structured, original, and factually accurate content within agreed deadlines. • Proactively pitch relevant topics based on trends, fixtures, and audience interest. • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, editorial standards, and SEO best practices.
🎯 Requirements
• Demonstrable experience writing sports-related content (portfolio required). • Possess deep knowledge of at least one major sport and follow it closely. • Naturally analyse games beyond the surface level — spotting tactical nuances, performance trends, and key moments. • Can articulate strong, well-reasoned opinions supported by data and context. • Understand how to balance analysis with storytelling to create engaging content. • Have excellent written English and strong attention to detail. • Native speaker of one of Nordic languages. • Are reliable, self-driven, and comfortable working in a freelance/remote setup. • Have a basic understanding of SEO and digital publishing (preferred).
