• We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated software engineer to join our growing Developer Experience team. • This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and contribute to building robust and efficient software systems. • You will work closely with senior engineers to develop and maintain applications, contribute to our CI/CD pipelines, and help improve the overall developer experience. • We believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning, automation, and collaboration, and you'll play a direct role in that mission, building tools that improve Developer experience. • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code in [e.g., .Net, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript] based on design specifications. • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. • Assist in debugging and resolving software defects and issues. • Learn and apply DevOps principles, including automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. • Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, understanding how code moves from development to production. • Work with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools under guidance to manage and provision development environments. • Contribute to documentation for existing tools, processes, and systems. • Assist in setting up and configuring development tools and environments for yourself and others. • Collaborate effectively with team members, product managers, and other stakeholders. • Actively participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and discussions. • Proactively seek out learning opportunities, staying up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices. • Ask questions, learn from senior engineers, and contribute to a positive team environment. • Help improve the developer experience by providing feedback on tools and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience/coding bootcamp completion. • 2-3 years of professional software development experience (internships, personal projects, or academic projects are highly valued). • Foundational understanding of at least one modern programming language (e.g. .Net, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript). • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. ADO, GitHub). • Basic understanding of command-line tools and Linux environments. • An eagerness to learn about cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD concepts. • Strong problem-solving skills with a curious and analytical mindset. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Highly motivated, self-starter, and eager to learn new technologies and concepts quickly. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to writing high-quality code. • A genuine interest in improving developer workflows and the overall software development process. • Any exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). • Completed personal projects demonstrating your coding abilities. • Contributions to open-source projects. • Participation in hackathons or coding challenges.
