• Take ownership of the entire Android development lifecycle and ship features quickly in an agile environment • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including iOS developers, QA testers, product managers, and designers • Work with cutting-edge technology on novel crypto problems and develop brand new features for the mobile wallet • Improve and maintain the codebase; research and adopt ways to enhance code quality and architecture • Incorporate AI-enhancing tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to improve developer efficiency • Prioritise practical solutions, open communication, and pragmatic progress
🎯 Requirements
• Kotlin • Reactive programming (Coroutines + Flow) • Strong computer science fundamentals • Architecture design patterns • Network protocols and data persistence techniques • Compose knowledge to deliver the best UX • 2-3 years of experience as an Android Engineer • Experience in blockchain technologies (nice to have) • Understanding of public key cryptography and digital signatures (nice to have) • Common Android libraries such as Dagger, Retrofit, Room & Coil (nice to have) • DevOps skills (nice to have) • Testing Android apps with unit tests and UI tests (nice to have) • Eager to research and learn new technologies • Implementing security best practices for safeguarding data on a mobile device
