📋 Description
• Lead, plan, develop, organize, and monitor national transportation and logistics • Develop a national transportation strategy that aligns with Cencora’s objectives • Evaluate and compare existing transportation-related expenses • Responsible for developing logistic strategies for market conditions • Manage corporate relationships with carrier partners • Set clear expectations and drive performance excellence • Cultivate a highly engaged team environment • Develop alternate delivery logistics options to meet customer expectations • Provide monthly expense estimates • Lead in the negotiation of carrier agreements • Analyze and develop alternative delivery options • Reviews performance metrics to identify action plans for improvement • Collaborate with other business leaders on strategic initiatives • Work with Transportation Compliance Manager for DOT and Hazardous Materials regulations compliance
🎯 Requirements
• Typically a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Two or more years of transportation/distribution/logistics experience • Preference in pharmaceutical/veterinary industry • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrate sound administrative and organizational skills • Well-developed management skills • Mathematics skills to resolve practical problems
