📋 Description

• Compile First Article Inspection (FAI) reports • Read and interpret engineering drawings, including the definition and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) • Analyse and understand Bills of Materials (BOM) listing parts used in assembly • Cross-reference and match BOM parts with delivery notes and supplier Certificates of Conformity (COC) • Review and match measurement reports provided by internal measurement departments • Apply systems thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve technical documentation discrepancies • Verify that manufactured components and supplier deliverables align with engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, and compliance standards • Support component approval and verify assembly integrity

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical engineering background or qualification (engineering students are eligible) • Proven ability to read and understand engineering drawings • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) • Ability to understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM) • Demonstrated eye for detail, systems-thinking approach, and problem-solving capabilities • Prior experience compiling First Article Inspection (FAI) reports (desirable) • Experience matching delivery notes and Certificates of Conformity (COC) against BOMs (desirable)
