📋 Description

• Build, configure, and maintain platform infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code practices and Terraform • Support the operation and continuous improvement of the Azure Databricks platform, including configuration, automation, monitoring, access management, and troubleshooting • Operate and improve the Azure Kubernetes-based platform for the Data & AI department • Support deployment, management, and scaling of services using GitOps and CI/CD practices • Implement platform changes and new capabilities according to architecture patterns, security requirements, and engineering standards • Contribute to reusable automation and self-service platform capabilities for engineering, Data, and AI teams • Monitor platform health, investigate operational issues, and resolve standard support cases • Escalate complex problems when appropriate • Collaborate with Platform, Data, AI, MLOps, and Security colleagues • Contribute to technical discussions, documentation, and platform improvements • Participate in architecture and design discussions and implement agreed solutions • Continuously develop knowledge of cloud-native and Data & AI platform technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and core cloud concepts including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security • Practical experience with containers and Kubernetes • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform • Familiarity with Helm is an advantage • Experience creating or maintaining deployment pipelines • Experience with Git-based development and delivery workflows • Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting production or platform environments • Ability to resolve common operational issues independently • Experience with Python, Go, or Shell for infrastructure automation and platform tooling • Familiarity with Azure Databricks or similar Data & AI platforms, or strong motivation to develop expertise • Basic understanding of Data, Machine Learning, or AI workloads • Ability to take ownership, organize tasks independently, communicate progress and challenges, and ask for input on unfamiliar or complex topics • Comfortable collaborating with engineers and stakeholders and explaining technical topics clearly • Motivation to continuously improve technical skills and contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and engineering practices • Fluency in English • German language skills are a plus
