📋 Description

• Drive the technical direction of the Retail Media platform • Design scalable, maintainable architectures and lead the evolution of Node.js/TypeScript microservices and distributed systems • Design and build high-performance backend services, APIs, and frontend applications using Node.js, React, Next.js, and TypeScript • Solve complex technical problems through hands-on implementation • Architect and optimize data-intensive and asynchronous workflows using MongoDB, Redis, Algolia, BullMQ, and RabbitMQ • Support campaign management, ad serving, targeting, and reporting • Lead complex engineering initiatives across teams • Drive architectural alignment, mentor engineers, and establish technical standards • Collaborate with Product, UX, Analytics, and Retail Media stakeholders • Translate business needs into scalable, high-impact AdTech solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience, including experience as a Staff, Principal, Tech Lead, or similar technical leadership role • Strong expertise in backend engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture • Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks • Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems • Experience driving architectural decisions and leading technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams • Experience in AdTech, ideally Retail Media, sponsored advertising, ad serving, targeting, auctions, or attribution • Ability to remain hands-on while influencing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and raising engineering standards • Experience collaborating in cross-functional product environments with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders
