📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of user interfaces that are visually compelling, intuitive, and aligned with USAF mission objectives. • Gather and evaluate user requirements through research, usability testing, and direct stakeholder engagement with maintenance and logistics personnel. • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts before development. • Develop and maintain a centralized design system to ensure consistency and scalability across multiple RSO applications and dashboards. • Implement production-ready dashboards and visualizations using Qlik Sense and Power BI. • Partner closely with data scientists and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs and technical feasibility of models. • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and emerging UX trends. • Advocate for accessibility (Section 508), usability, and inclusive design principles across all RSO products. • Collaborate within an Agile environment, managing tasks through JIRA and Confluence.

🎯 Requirements

• US citizen with a Secret US government clearance. • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or proven equivalent professional experience in Design or Human-Computer Interaction. • 4 years of experience in UX/UI development, specifically building data-heavy applications or dashboards. • Proven proficiency in dashboard development tools, specifically Qlik Sense and Power BI. • Demonstrated experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch). • Experience working with office productivity software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Must be a motivated self-starter capable of executing complex design tasks without constant supervision. • Ability to travel, as needed, to meet with government customers and stakeholders.
