📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust and scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails. • Collaborate with product managers, front-end engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Architect and implement features and enhancements for our core platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability. • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor engineers to foster growth and skill development within the team. • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in the Ruby/Rails ecosystem and backend development, making recommendations for continuous improvement. • Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our backend systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical work experience. • 5+ years of experience in backend software development. • Proficiency in Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework. • Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), including schema design, query optimization, and transaction management. • Extensive experience designing and implementing robust JSON APIs. • Experience with backend testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
