📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers • Manage backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities for data engineering projects • Collaborate with business and technical leaders to execute strategic and tactical initiatives • Monitor emerging data engineering trends and evaluate platforms and tools to improve the technology stack and data infrastructure • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines from TMS and other data sources • Design and implement new data structures or extend existing structures for evolving business requirements • Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and completeness through validation and monitoring processes • Develop and maintain the Data Vault, Data Warehouse, and Data Marts • Deliver key metrics to operational and business stakeholders • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, executives, clients, engineers, and external vendors • Improve code deployments, data validation, error handling and alerting, data democratization, and technical debt modernization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent experience) • Preference in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field • 8+ years technology experience • Experience with Amazon Relational Database Service (Aurora, MySQL), Microsoft SQL Server, or Snowflake • Exceptional SQL development and performance tuning skills • Strong experience with Python language, libraries, applications, and concepts • Experience with Pandas, Streamlit, NumPy, JSON, CSV, and Requests • Experience with TMS, WMS, or other enterprise logistics platforms is a strong plus • Experience with Data Vault 2.0, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, REST API, Coalesce.io, YAML, git, DevOps, and CI/CD is a strong plus • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Self-starter, entrepreneurial, highly adaptable, and able to take initiative in a fast-moving environment • Strong communication and leadership skills
