📋 Description

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across multiple legal entities. • Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting. • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements. • Ensure compliance with Canadian Accounting Standards (ASPE and/or IFRS). • Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and financial governance. • Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. • Support department managers with budgeting, financial accountability, and performance reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA Canada or pursuing CPA is an asset). • 5–8 years of progressive accounting/financial management experience, including Canadian accounting experience. • Strong expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO). • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, ASPE/IFRS, and Canadian reporting requirements. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
