📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert for Japan payroll • Manage relationships with stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering • Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance • Ensure full data integrity and quality • Perform accounting and reconciliations • Focus on KPIs and SLAs • Implement and improve processes • Mentor and support payroll specialists • Back up regional managers during absences • Report to the Manager, Global Payroll Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Payroll management or equivalent experience • Knowledge of payroll best practices • Proficient in using software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment • Productivity-focused approach to improving and speeding up work • Understanding of largely asynchronous work • Fluent written and spoken English • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency • Remote work experience is a plus, not required • Prior employment verification check
